 Social Media in Education          Within social media in education, I picked the category of teenagers. As a secondary education teacher, I see the impact of social media on teenagers lives everyday. I read the articles,  ‘Facebook is at the point of no return’: These 17-year-olds are very clear about what they love and hate about social media and  What is a ‘Finsta?’ Teens and their secret Instagram accounts.   In these two articles, they talk about the different popular social media platforms and the different things teenagers have to say about them. Teenagers today, fall into the Gen Z generation. This generation is OBSESSED with social media and have never lived in a world without it.  My Final Thoughts...     The past several weeks have been an educational journey. I have learned so much about technology in the classroom and how to better service all my students. Technology in education is a must. We are living in a technological world and it is our job as teachers to incorporate and teach the benefits of technology. Before taking this course, I was an advocate for technology in education and now that advocacy has just grown. I know there are teachers who are against giving technology a try and that is such a shame. Technology enhances our teaching ability and is the future.
